Ronnie was a good guy. He was always friendly to me in school even though I didn't run in his crowd. In 1966 I was in Vietnam on a road security mission and guess who came down the road driving a jeep with a officer in it, yep it was Fitzgerald. I hollered at him and he stopped and we talked for a few minutes. I didn't know Ronnie was in the Army until then. I saw him once more on his way back home. We talked some at the 40th reunion was good to see him. RIP Ronnie
